BONDS FORGED—
Zack's first Bond was made with Cloud Strife a few months after his arrival, spurred on by the full moon driving Zack into a feral state, which caused him to realize that he couldn't get by any longer without one. As close friends who have been through thick and thin together, the decision to bond was an easy one.

Zack's second Bond — with Aerith Gainsborough — was discussed and agreed upon almost as soon as she arrived in Geargadas. Given that Aerith had been there once before, but hadn't retained any of her memories, Zack didn't want to waste any time now that she was back. They ended up stalling on actually going through the ceremony until after Zack was kidnapped by the Evergreen Circle, pushing them to realize that they shouldn't be dragging their feet.

MONSTER CHANGES—
Zack is a griffin chimera, and thus far his changes are as follows:

• Feathers | dark brown (almost black) in color, longer quills weaved in with the spikes of his hair and softer down grown in around his neck and down his shoulders
• Talon-like hands | the skin of his hands has hardened and become scaled like an eagle's talons, and his tails have sharpened into curved claws (reference)
• Golden eyes | his eyes remain as bright and glowing as ever, but they are the golden color of a bird of prey rather than blue
• Lion's tail | tawny in color, with a tufted end
• Wings | a dark brown like his other feathers, large but not so large that he can't fold them in and walk through doorways
• Lower extremities of a lion | furry from the knee down, his feet are paw-like and digitigrade
